Disney World Guest Experience Availability Cut to Three Days a Week

One of the most charming experiences at Disney Springs just got significantly harder to book. Amorette’s Patisserie has quietly pulled its cake-decorating classes from four days of the week, with no explanation offered for the change.

Walt Disney World Resort updated its website this week to reflect that Amorette’s Patisserie’s cake-decorating classes are no longer available Monday through Thursday. The 90-minute experience is now offered just three days a week — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — with a single session each day at 9:15 a.m.

Previously, classes ran every day of the week, also once per day. The Mickey Mouse Dome Cake class was available on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while the Amorette’s Choice Dome Cake was offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The Disney Springs bakery did not provide a reason for scaling back.

What the Experience Includes

The classes take place before Amorette’s Patisserie opens to the public, giving participants a private session with a Disney pastry artist who provides live instruction and shares behind-the-scenes stories about working in Walt Disney World Resort‘s bakeries. The cake on offer varies by day: Fridays feature the Amorette’s Choice Dome Cake — lemon chiffon cake, white chocolate mousse, and strawberry pate de fruit jelly — while Saturday and Sunday classes center on the iconic Mickey Mouse Dome Cake, made with chocolate chiffon cake, milk chocolate mousse, and orange pate de fruit jelly.

Guests receive a special gift for attending and are welcome to take their finished cake home or back to their Disney Resort hotel room. The class is priced at $199 for up to two guests and covers the cake, all decorating materials, and a selection of beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, water, and select alcoholic drinks. For an additional $50, a second cake can be added to the experience.
