Adventureland Blockaded at Disneyland Park in Latest Overhaul Update
Hoping for a swashbuckling adventure on Pirates of the Caribbean or a memorable climb through the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse? Well, the experience might be a little less magical than you’d hoped, as Adventureland just got a lot less accessible at one international Disney park.
Disneyland Paris Resort has been busy with several construction projects across its two theme parks, the Disney Village shopping and dining district, and the Disney Resort hotels. The projects range from minor renovations at two Disney Resort hotel Starbucks locations and a brand-new McDonald’s at Disney Village to the complete reimagining of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World, complete with the World of Frozen and a new land inspired by The Lion King (1994). The park will debut its new name alongside the Frozen (2013) area’s grand opening in the spring of 2026.

Over at Disneyland Park, Disney cast members have been hard at work on several maintenance projects throughout Fantasyland and Adventureland. In September, construction walls appeared in a passage between Adventureland and Fantasyland, near Au Chalet de la Marionnette Quick Service restaurant. (The dining location remains open for Disney Park guests.)
On Monday, October 27, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP reported that Disneyland Paris Resort has installed several new construction walls throughout Adventureland at Disneyland Park. The social media user shared four photos of the barricades, which prevent guests from seeing the behind-the-scenes work:

Based on the photos, these new construction walls appear to be an extension of the existing barricades near the Au Chalet de la Marionnette Quick Service restaurant, on the Adventureland side. Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t specified what project it’s working on in this area.
