Additional Bird Shows Now at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World

Flights of Wonder is a really interesting, lively bird show in the Asia section within Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  In the show, various bird species are showcased and you get to see them fly and interact with guests freely with their trainer.  Now there will be a couple additional bird shows spread around the park in Dinoland, USA and Africa.

The Dinoland, USA show focuses on the link between dinosaurs and birds.  There have been known theories linking the two species, and specialists help to share more about this information.  This show will occur at 3:30PM and 4:30PM daily.

In Africa, there will be a show showcasing African birds on a stage in Harambe.  The stage is located close to Tusker House restaurant where musical performances are often held.  There are no set times that have been published yet for this show, but you will find the demonstrations there.

Flights of Wonder will continue daily in Asia with show times communicated in the Times Guide.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
