A Once-Exclusive Disney Experience Is Now Being Pushed Like Never Before

Walt Disney World vacations are starting to feel a little different in 2026—and not just because of new rides or construction walls. The bigger shift is happening in how Disney is building the entire trip around add-ons, and one of the most noticeable changes right now involves Private VIP Tours.

For a long time, VIP Tours felt like something separate from the typical Disney vacation. You had to go out of your way to book them, plan around availability, and make a pretty big financial commitment without much integration into the rest of your trip. That’s no longer the case.

Disney has started allowing VIP Tours to be added directly to vacation packages, which changes how people approach planning from the very beginning. Instead of treating it like a last-minute upgrade, guests can now build their entire trip with that experience already locked in. That also means earlier access to booking dates, which used to be a challenge with the old 60-day window.

It’s a subtle change, but it makes a big impact.

Now, when families sit down to plan their Disney trip, VIP Tours are sitting right there alongside hotel options and park tickets. That visibility alone makes more people consider it.

At the same time, Disney has started pushing these tours in another way—through targeted discounts.

One of the most talked-about offers right now is a 20% discount for guests staying in Club Level rooms. That’s a very intentional move. Club Level is already positioned as a premium hotel experience, so pairing it with a discount on VIP Tours creates a natural upgrade path.

Guests who are already spending more on their stay are now being encouraged to take that next step and elevate their park experience too.

And for many, that discount is enough to tip the scales.

VIP Tours are still expensive. There’s no getting around that. But when you start factoring in the convenience—private transportation, flexible scheduling, and much easier access to attractions—it becomes easier to understand why Disney is leaning into it so heavily.

The parks are busier than ever, and planning a day can feel overwhelming. VIP Tours cut through a lot of that stress.

Instead of constantly checking wait times or trying to grab Lightning Lane reservations at the right moment, you have someone guiding the day for you. It’s a completely different experience.

What’s really interesting is how this reflects a bigger trend at Disney.

Vacations aren’t just about showing up anymore. They’re about building a customized experience. And Disney is giving guests more ways than ever to shape their trip—if they’re willing to pay for it.

VIP Tours are becoming a major part of that conversation, and in 2026, they’re more visible—and more heavily promoted—than they’ve ever been.
