A scuffle at one of the hotels near EPCOT brought law enforcement to Walt Disney World Resort on Thursday afternoon. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office logged the call as a battery, and early details are thin.
What the Scanner Shows

Deputies received the call at 1:10 p.m. on October 15. The Central Florida law enforcement monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime posted the scanner information on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The entry is categorized as “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone),” a broad label that can cover anything from a shove to a more serious altercation. Nothing released so far indicates how severe this one was.
Narrowing Down the Location

The wider EPCOT Resort Area includes Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts (operated by Marriott), Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.
This report, though, was tagged to EPCOT Resorts Boulevard, the stretch serving hotels that guests can walk from to reach the park. Because visitors at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort have to ride the Disney Skyliner to get there, those two properties are unlikely to be involved.

A Google Maps screenshot attached to the post drops a pin in the middle of Crescent Lake. Authorities regularly use that spot as a stand-in address for calls in this part of the resort, so it doesn’t reveal where the 911 call actually came from.
No one has said how many people were involved, whether anyone was injured, or whether Disney cast members or guests were involved in the dispute. Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t commented publicly. A published police report or criminal charges could eventually fill in the blanks.
