Disneyland Shuttle Expands to Two Hotels, Adding $6 Daily Cost

Adult Guests Face New 'Gate Entry' Fee

Disneyland Resort visitors staying at two additional Anaheim hotels now have a reported transportation option, but getting to the parks comes with a separate daily charge. The Disneyland shuttle expansion adds Hotel Lulu and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort to the Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle, extending a service created after the region’s longtime ART bus network closed.

Two More Anaheim Hotels Join the Disneyland Shuttle

The expanded hotel lineup now reportedly includes Hotel Lulu and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort. They join Hilton Anaheim, Anaheim Marriott, Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort, Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, and Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Resort / Convention Center. That brings the reported participating hotel total to seven.

The operator’s Anaheim Resort Campus Shuttle website describes a paid transportation service between participating hotels and Disneyland. However, portions of its publicly accessible hotel list still describe an earlier four-hotel arrangement. Guests at the newly added properties should confirm their current pickup locations and departure times directly with their hotels or the operator before purchasing tickets.

This is a hotel-area transportation change, not a new attraction, Disney-operated bus route, or modification to admission at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure.

Why Disneyland Lost Its Longtime ART Bus Network

The expansion follows a much larger change in Southern California tourism transportation. Anaheim Resort Transportation, commonly called ART, ended operations on March 31, 2026. The Anaheim Transportation Network’s former route information confirms the service’s conclusion and documents its previous network of hotel and destination stops.

Instead of relying on a familiar regional network, visitors increasingly have to determine which replacement service, if any, serves their particular hotel. Inside the Magic previously covered the closure of Disneyland-area transportation and the introduction of replacement shuttle arrangements.

The Campus Shuttle helps fill part of that gap, but it should not be mistaken for a restoration of the entire ART network. Its participating hotel list is narrower, and travelers must check eligibility and schedules rather than assume a stop exists near every accommodation.

Disneyland Shuttle Expansion Comes With a $6 Adult Fare

According to the shuttle operator’s ticket information, an adult all-day pass costs $6, while a senior pass costs $4. A child fare is displayed as approximately $3.50, although the page contains a formatting error in that price and inconsistent toddler-age wording. Processing fees apply to paid tickets; the exact checkout total should be verified before purchase.

For two adults, the published base fare works out to $12 per day, before processing fees. Over three park days, that becomes $36 before fees.

Families should also consider whether every member needs a paid ticket and whether a multiday pass offers better value. The operator advertises three-day passes, but guests should compare the live checkout price rather than assume a particular discount.

Could Additional Hotel Stops Mean Longer Shuttle Rides?

More hotels can mean more potential passengers, additional boarding activity, and a greater need for careful dispatching. That makes travel time a reasonable concern, particularly when guests are trying to reach Disneyland for opening or return after a long evening.

However, the addition of two hotels does not establish that buses are already overcrowded or running late. No verified updated stop-by-stop timetable, before-and-after journey-time comparison, or operator announcement of reduced frequency was located for this expansion.

The operator’s published schedule describes half-hourly morning departures, hourly midday service, and more frequent evening returns, but its hotel information has not been fully updated. Visitors should therefore confirm which timetable applies to their specific stop, especially during peak park arrival and departure periods.

A shared shuttle may stop at other hotels before reaching Disneyland. Whether that adds substantial time depends on the actual routing, boarding demand, traffic, and number of buses deployed.

What Disneyland Families Should Check Before Booking

Travelers comparing hotels should look beyond whether a listing simply advertises a shuttle. Ask where passengers board, whether the vehicle serves other properties first, when the final return departs, and whether mobility equipment can be accommodated.

Disney’s official transportation guidance separately confirms complimentary buses between the Toy Story Parking Area and the theme parks. That service is distinct from the paid hotel shuttle and should not be confused with complimentary hotel pickup.

Inside the Magic has also reported on changes affecting the Toy Story shuttle drop-off area, another reminder that arrival logistics can change independently of hotel transportation.

What Happens Next for Anaheim’s Hotel Shuttle Service?

The immediate benefit is broader reported access for guests at Hotel Lulu and DoubleTree Suites. The unresolved question is whether the expanded service can maintain convenient travel times as its participating hotel network grows.

For now, there is no verified evidence of a fare increase caused by the new stops, a permanent frequency reduction, or widespread overcrowding. Guests planning upcoming Disneyland vacations should monitor operator updates, confirm pickup instructions with their hotels, and leave flexibility around park opening and closing. The next meaningful update will be a current route map and timetable showing exactly how the seven reported hotels are being served.
