Disney Confirms New Holiday Experience Coming to Walt Disney World, Starting October 7

Disney Springs is getting a Hallmark Christmas store next week.

The Hallmark Holiday Pop-Up opens October 7 in the former Francesca’s storefront. Exterior signage went up in September.

No park ticket required. Disney Springs charges nothing to enter, and parking is free.

What Disney Said

Disney Parks Blog confirmed the date in a post about the Hallmark Channel movie filmed at Walt Disney World.

“To make things even merrier, on October 7th, Disney Springs will open a limited-time Hallmark Pop-Up shop that invites guests to step into Christmas movie magic and browse merchandise inspired by the film,” the post reads. “The shop will also feature a curated assortment of Disney and Hallmark holiday greeting cards, gifts, ornaments and more!”

Note that second sentence. Disney and Hallmark.

This is not just a movie merchandise shop. It is two holiday catalogs sharing one storefront, which is a bigger arrangement than “pop-up” usually means.

The Collection

The Holiday Ever After collection releases in October:

  • Two Spirit Jerseys
  • Family pajamas
  • Loungefly accessories
  • Vera Bradley bags
  • Corkcicle drinkware
  • Holiday cards
  • Home goods
  • Ornaments

Two items signal how serious this is.

Two Spirit Jerseys. That line sits at the premium end of Disney apparel. Two designs from one limited collection is real investment.

Family pajamas. The highest-volume category in Disney Christmas apparel. People buy those in sets of four.

Look at Who Made the Products

Loungefly. Vera Bradley. Spirit Jersey. Corkcicle.

None of those are Hallmark brands. All of them are Disney Parks merchandise partners you see year-round at World of Disney.

Hallmark’s own strengths are cards and ornaments. Both are in the collection.

So Disney applied its existing partner roster to a Hallmark property, and Hallmark brought what it actually dominates. Each side did its job instead of one licensing the other.

That is why this reads like a full Disney holiday assortment rather than a rack of movie shirts.

The Movie Comes Later

Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True was filmed on location at Walt Disney World and premieres in November.

Which means the merchandise lands roughly two months before the film.

Backward from the usual order, and telling. The collection is not counting on the movie to sell it. It is selling Disney Parks Christmas, with the movie as framing.

By premiere night, the collection will have been on shelves for weeks, and anyone buying afterward is buying because the film landed. Both halves covered.

Christmas, During Halloween

October 7 puts this in the middle of the Halloween season at Disney Springs.

So you get fall decor and seasonal offerings running while a Hallmark Christmas shop operates nearby.

Mildly disorienting. Also convenient, if you shop early to avoid December.

How to Play It

Want the Spirit Jerseys, Loungefly pieces, or Vera Bradley bags? Go the first week or two. Those brands move fast at Disney without a collaboration attached.

Cards, ornaments, and home goods restock better. Less urgency there.

Hallmark has not announced a closing date.
