Disneyland Confirms New Bluey Schedule Beginning September 28

Families heading to Disneyland Park next weekend may want to take another look at their plans, especially if seeing Bluey and Bingo is high on the list.

Bluey’s Best Day Ever! is getting an expanded performance schedule at Fantasyland Theatre. The change won’t happen all at once, either. Disneyland will add one additional operating day beginning September 28 before expanding the schedule again on October 1.

For families visiting during the transition, knowing exactly which days Bluey is performing could prevent some disappointment.

The Current Bluey Schedule Ends Soon

For now, Bluey’s Best Day Ever! is only scheduled to operate Friday through Sunday.

Through September 27, guests can catch performances at 11 a.m., 12:20 p.m., and 1:40 p.m. on those three days.

That limited schedule means someone visiting Disneyland Park on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday currently won’t find a scheduled performance.

That’s about to become a little easier for families to navigate.

Beginning Monday, September 28, Disneyland will add Monday to the schedule. The performance times will stay exactly the same, giving guests three chances to see the show at 11 a.m., 12:20 p.m., and 1:40 p.m.

Just a few days later, another expansion arrives.

Another Change Happens October 1

Starting Thursday, October 1, Disneyland will add Thursday performances.

Once that happens, Bluey’s Best Day Ever! will be scheduled five days each week from Thursday through Monday.

Tuesday and Wednesday will remain the only two days without scheduled performances.

That makes the upcoming change particularly helpful for families taking longer Disneyland vacations. Guests who previously had to fit Bluey into a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday can soon choose between five different days.

The three daily performance times will remain unchanged.

Based on the currently available Disneyland calendar, that schedule extends through October 31. Disney could always make additional adjustments, so guests should check the Disneyland app before heading to Fantasyland Theatre.

Families Should Plan for Bluey Earlier in the Day

The days aren’t the only part of the schedule worth remembering.

All three performances happen before 2 p.m.

The first show begins at 11 a.m., followed by a 12:20 p.m. performance. The final scheduled show starts at 1:40 p.m.

That could catch families off guard if they assume Bluey’s Best Day Ever! continues throughout the afternoon or evening.

If Bluey is a must-do experience for your child, waiting until later in the day isn’t a great strategy. Even on a day when the show operates, arriving at Fantasyland Theatre after the final performance would mean missing it.

Fortunately, the expanded weekly schedule gives guests more opportunities to work the experience into their vacation.

What Happens During Bluey’s Best Day Ever!?

Bluey’s Best Day Ever! brings Bluey and Bingo to Fantasyland Theatre for more than a traditional character appearance.

The experience includes a live musical show featuring Bluey and Bingo alongside musicians and comedic performers. Kids can also participate in interactive games inspired by familiar moments from the series.

For young Bluey fans, it offers a chance to see characters they already know in a completely different setting.

That’s also why the operating schedule matters.

A child who has been looking forward to Bluey may not understand why the experience isn’t available on certain days. Parents planning around the new schedule can avoid discovering that after they’ve already arrived.

Remember These Two Dates

The easiest way to keep track of the upcoming changes is to remember September 28 and October 1.

Monday performances begin September 28.

Thursday performances begin October 1.

Once both changes take effect, Bluey’s Best Day Ever! will run Thursday through Monday at 11 a.m., 12:20 p.m., and 1:40 p.m.

It’s a relatively small operational change at Disneyland, but for families traveling specifically with a Bluey fan, it could make planning considerably easier.

And with the first expansion arriving next weekend, guests with upcoming Disneyland trips should make sure they’re looking at the new schedule rather than assuming the current three-day calendar will remain in place.
