Marvel Studios has quietly staked out new territory inside EPCOT’s World Showcase, with fresh Avengers-themed artwork now decorating a gift shop that Walt Disney World Resort guests might not expect to find superheroes in.
From Cosmic Rewind to a Subtler Marvel Presence

Marvel’s first big footprint at EPCOT came with the arrival of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in the rebranded World Discovery neighborhood. That addition sparked early pushback from Disney Parks fans who felt a Marvel Cinematic Universe ride clashed with the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow’s original theming, but the coaster has since become one of the park’s most sought-after attractions.
Now the MCU is showing up in a much smaller way at EPCOT, this time inside The Crown & Crest, the heraldry-themed shop located within the United Kingdom World Showcase Pavilion.
Avengers-Inspired Artwork Now on the Walls

WDWNT reported that Disney cast members recently updated the shop’s decor with several framed crests inspired by The Avengers (2012). Photos from the outlet show pieces themed around Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Steve Rogers (Captain America), along with additional artwork that draws on colors and country references tied to Thor, Loki, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.
The Crown & Crest normally invites guests to research their family surnames and commission personalized artwork featuring coats of arms and family heraldry. Sample pieces displayed around the shop frequently nod to Disney characters and pop culture figures — everything from Brave (2012) to Taylor Swift — which makes the new Marvel-themed samples right at home among the shop’s usual mix.
A separate sample plaque themed to Bruce Banner (Hulk) is also on display elsewhere in the store.
Catch It While You Can

Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t officially promote these sample joke artworks at The Crown & Crest, and there’s no telling how long the Avengers-inspired crests will remain up before they rotate out. EPCOT guests hoping to spot them in person should plan a visit sooner rather than later.
