Santa Claus is losing his longtime spot at Disneyland Park this Christmas, and the culprit is an unexpected one: Bluey has claimed his old venue.
Bluey Takes Over Santa’s Old Stage
Disneyland Resort dropped a batch of holiday season details Wednesday, covering everything coming to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park for The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, set to run November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. Tucked into the announcement was a notable change: Santa Claus is relocating away from the Fantasyland Theatre, his long-standing meet-and-greet spot.
The reason for the move comes down to real estate. The Fantasyland Theatre is now home to Bluey’s Best Day Ever show, leaving no room for Santa’s usual setup.
Where to Find Santa Instead
Santa hasn’t disappeared from Disneyland Park entirely — he’s just moved. This year, Southern California Disney Park guests can visit him at Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn, near Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, where he’ll continue taking holiday wish lists and posing for photos. Disneyland Resort recommends checking the Disneyland Resort app or the park’s posted entertainment schedule for exact meet-and-greet times.
Santa’s Limited Availability
As always, Santa’s stay at Disneyland Park has an expiration date. He typically stops meeting guests after Christmas Eve, even though the holiday season itself continues through January 6 this year. In years past, both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have filled that post-Christmas gap with a festively costumed substitute, like Santa Goofy, to carry guests through the rest of the season.
