Well, it happened again. September 8 just dropped off Disney’s ticket calendar for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026, and that makes it the second September night to disappear in a matter of days. September 4 sold out first, and now its $154 twin is gone too.
Here’s the thing that’s catching our attention: back on July 30, every single September date was still up for grabs. Then September 4 went, and just days later, September 8 followed it out the door. If you’ve been telling yourself “September will hang around longer than August did,” the calendar is starting to disagree with you.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 kicks off August 7 at Magic Kingdom, and ever since general public tickets went on sale in May, here’s the order these nights have vanished:

Does This Remind Anyone Else of Last Year?
Back in 2025, once September dates started selling out, things moved fast: by August 26, the entire month of August was gone, and September 2 had already followed it. This year looks like it’s actually ahead of that pace, since two September nights are already sold out before August has even wrapped up.
One odd wrinkle: September 4 and September 8 both sold out before September 1, even though September 1 is the cheaper night. Disney doesn’t publish how many tickets are left for nights that are still open, so all we really know is which dates are gone. We don’t know how many tickets moved, how packed a given night will actually feel, or whether Disney quietly adjusted capacity for specific dates.
What This Means for You
If you’ve got a Walt Disney World trip built around a particular party date, don’t sit on it. September 1 is the last night under $150, and based on how fast the last two September dates went, waiting could mean paying more or losing your preferred night entirely.
Every date from September 11 forward already costs more than September 1, so a sellout doesn’t just mean rescheduling — it means a bigger bill too. Pull up Disney’s live ticket calendar before you count on any specific night, especially if hotel reservations or other travel plans are already locked in around it.
And if you’re headed to Magic Kingdom without a party ticket on one of these nights, Disney has been rolling out changes like earlier park entry and cheaper Lightning Lane options to help offset the 6 p.m. closures.
