For many Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, exclusive merchandise has long been one of the biggest perks of membership. But Disney’s latest Haunted Mansion collectible has sparked a different conversation, because having an Annual Pass alone isn’t enough to buy it.
The company has unveiled a new Haunted Mansion-themed T-shirt exclusively for Annual Passholders during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The catch? Passholders must also purchase a separate ticket to the after-hours event before they’ll even have the opportunity to purchase the shirt.
It’s another reminder that some of Disney’s most desirable offerings now require more than just annual admission.
Haunted Mansion Gets the Halloween Spotlight
The new shirt celebrates one of Magic Kingdom’s most iconic attractions with artwork centered around the Haunted Mansion’s famous Hitchhiking Ghosts.
Disney paired the ghostly trio with the phrase “Boo to You,” along with Halloween-inspired artwork featuring bats, pumpkins, and seasonal accents. The design blends the attraction’s classic gothic style with the playful atmosphere of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
A matching Annual Passholder-exclusive pin is also part of this year’s collection.
For Haunted Mansion fans, it’s an appealing addition to Disney’s growing lineup of attraction-inspired apparel.
An Exclusive With Extra Requirements
Normally, Annual Passholder merchandise is simply limited to guests with an active pass.
This collection works differently.
The merchandise will only be sold during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. Guests must show both a valid Annual Pass and government-issued photo ID to make a purchase.
But before any of that happens, they first need a party ticket.
Because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event, Passholders who choose not to attend won’t be able to enter Magic Kingdom during the event or shop for the exclusive merchandise.

In other words, Disney has created merchandise that’s exclusive not only to Annual Passholders, but to Annual Passholders willing to pay for another premium event.
Halloween Party Continues to Add Value
Disney has steadily expanded the list of experiences that are available only during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Guests attending the event can enjoy trick-or-treating, exclusive entertainment, specialty food and beverages, rare character appearances, lower attraction waits, and event-only merchandise.
Adding Passholder-exclusive collectibles gives even Disney’s most loyal fans another incentive to purchase party tickets.
Whether that’s viewed as an added bonus or another example of Disney placing popular offerings behind an additional cost will likely depend on who you ask.
Haunted Mansion Looking Better Than Ever
As Disney rolls out new Haunted Mansion merchandise, the attraction itself is also looking its best.
The exterior refurbishment is nearly complete after months of work around Liberty Square. Construction scrims and scaffolding have been removed, revealing a freshly repainted facade that restores details throughout the mansion, including the chimneys, turrets, and rebuilt atrium.
Disney has also refreshed the landscaping surrounding the attraction with new planting beds, shrubs, and young trees.
Throughout the refurbishment, Haunted Mansion has remained open, allowing guests to continue visiting one of Magic Kingdom’s most beloved attractions even as work continued around the exterior.
