It’s July 1, Canada Day, and that means that a new Quick-Service dining location has opened at EPCOT. La Poutinerie, which took over the former Refreshment Port location, has debuted, extending the Canada World Showcase Pavilion beyond its original footprint. Let’s take a look!
La Poutinerie Now Open

Refreshment Port closed in January for what Walt Disney World Resort originally described as a routine refurbishment. Months later, Disney finally revealed that Air Canada had sponsored a new Quick-Service dining location for the space: La Poutinerie. Like its predecessor, the new location offers specialty poutine, but it also features new menu items, such as the Spiced Apple Slushy (non-alcoholic) and the Spiced Apple Mule (alcoholic).
For months, EPCOT guests have watched as Disney cast members installed decorative brickwork and repainted the roof of the former Refreshment Port, with signs for La Poutinerie going up in the final days of June. On Wednesday, the construction walls and rolling planters finally disappeared, and Disney Park guests finally got a taste of the newest addition to the Canada World Showcase Pavilion.

WDWNT was among the first to visit the Quick-Service restaurant, and shared this photo of the completed building:
The outlet also shared a sneak peek at three menu items, including the Spiced Apple Mule with Iceberg Canadian Vodka ($14.50) and the two specialty poutines, Québec: L’Authentique ($10.99) and Montréal: Viande Fumée ($12.49). The Québec-themed poutine features French fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy. The Montréal version features French fries, cheese curds, smoked meat, pickles, and mustard gravy.
La Poutinerie is open most days from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., but the full operating schedule is available on Walt Disney World Resort’s website and the My Disney Experience app.
