As is standard with scanner alerts tied to Walt Disney World Resort properties, the Google Maps pin attached to the post reflects the hotel’s general address rather than a precise location on the grounds. Where exactly on the resort property the fire occurred hasn’t been confirmed.

Walt Disney World Resort has not commented on the incident and is unlikely to do so unless the damage proves significant enough to affect guest-facing operations at the hotel.

No Disruptions Reported

Guests currently staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort or planning to visit the EPCOT Resort area hotel shouldn’t expect any interruptions to their experience, based on current reports. The My Disney Experience app shows hotel amenities, dining, and transportation operating normally at this time.

One separate note worth mentioning: the Disney Skyliner may have experienced a pause earlier Monday evening due to inclement weather in Central Florida — unrelated to the reported fire.

Anyone who encounters emergency responders or law enforcement activity during a Walt Disney World Resort stay should keep their distance from any restricted areas and follow directions from cast members and authorities on the scene.
