One Group of Disneyland Fans Just Got a Surprise Worth Hunting For

Attention Magic Key holders! If you’re planning a visit to Disneyland soon, there’s an exciting new experience waiting just for you—without any extra cost! Disneyland has introduced a delightful souvenir scavenger hunt exclusively for passholders.

To participate, simply head over to Disneyana, located on Main Street, U.S.A., where you can collect your scavenger hunt essentials. You’ll find a special map and a sticker sheet designed to guide you through this fun adventure. However, keep in mind that this offer is only available until July 24, and supplies are limited, so it’s advisable to pick yours up sooner rather than later!

When visiting Disneyana to retrieve your scavenger hunt kit, make sure to bring along your valid Magic Key pass, as it’s required for pickup. Remember, each person is allowed to take home just one kit, but this unique scavenger hunt is a fantastic way to explore the park and see it from a fresh perspective. Don’t miss out on this magical opportunity!

What You Actually Get

The map itself is honestly pretty fun just to look at. It’s a colorful, road trip-style illustration of Disneyland with little details hidden throughout, like a dinosaur peeking out of a train tunnel, Winnie the Pooh floating with a balloon, and the Tangaroa Tree over in Adventureland. Around the border, you’ll spot blue-toned versions of Disney characters from across the last 100 years, everything from Mickey Mouse and Snow White to Dory and Darth Vader.

Flip it over, and that’s where the actual scavenger hunt comes in. Each land has its own clue or two, color coded to match the map. In Adventureland, you’re looking for where the birds sing words. New Orleans Square has you listening for pipes groaning a familiar tune. And if you’re heading into Galaxy’s Edge, you’ll be tracking down the Mandalorian’s tiny little partner.

The sticker sheet matches up with each of these tasks too, with little stickers like Mickey riding a train, an Autopia car, R2-D2, and even the lamp from Walt Disney’s old apartment above the fire station.

There’s no actual prize for finishing the hunt. It’s really just about the experience of slowing down and noticing things around the park you’d probably walk right past otherwise.

Why This Is a Nice Touch

Let’s be honest, Disneyland trips get expensive fast. Between park admission, food, and the merchandise you somehow always end up buying, having something free to do is genuinely refreshing, especially for Magic Key holders who are already visiting pretty often.

It’s also just a fun group activity. Instead of everyone splitting off to do their own thing, a scavenger hunt naturally keeps everyone working together, following the same clues and exploring the same spots. That’s a nice change of pace, especially if you’ve got a mix of ages in your group, since younger kids might end up loving this just as much as riding their favorite attraction.

How to Get One at Disneyland

If you want to try this out, head to Disneyana on Main Street before July 24. Supplies are limited, so once they’re gone, that’s it. You’ll need your Magic Key on you to redeem one, and remember, it’s just one per passholder.

Whether you turn it into a regular thing every visit or just try it once for fun, this is a nice little bonus for Magic Key holders looking for a free way to enjoy Disneyland a little differently next time.
