Disneyland Paris Set for Major Summer Sell-off Under French Rules

Cheap Disney merchandise is about to get a lot easier to find at Disneyland Paris.

Disney parks are known for many things, but bargain shopping is rarely one of them. While the company regularly offers discounts on hotels and vacation packages, steep price cuts inside the parks themselves tend to be far less common.

That doesn’t mean they never happen. Walt Disney World has spent much of 2026 promoting discounted vacations, including savings of up to 35% at select Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. Guests have also been able to take advantage of a heavily discounted two-day, two-park ticket offer.

Merchandise discounts have appeared from time to time as well, particularly when Disney is looking to clear inventory. In recent years, that has included products tied to Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration and merchandise inspired by Wish.

Next week, however, one Disney resort will begin a far larger sale than anything typically seen in the United States.

Hundreds of Disney Items Expected To Be Discounted

Disneyland Paris will launch its annual summer sale on June 24, reducing prices on select merchandise across the resort.

The event isn’t unique to Disney. In France, retailers participate in officially scheduled sales periods each year, with summer and winter markdowns taking place under a framework set by the government.

That means Disneyland Paris joins stores across the country in offering major discounts during the summer sales season.

Disneyland Pass holders can also enjoy early access at World of Disney in Disney Village, shopping 1 hour before everyone else from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on June 24. #DisneylandParis

Past editions of the event have included markdowns on everything from Disney hoodies and apparel to plush toys and collectibles.

Passholders Get a Head Start

As was the case during the winter sales earlier this year, Disneyland Pass holders will be given access before the general public.

Passholders can enter World of Disney in Disney Village from 8 a.m. on June 24, one hour ahead of the official opening time. Guests without a pass will be able to begin shopping from 9 a.m.

The resort’s annual pass program also allows members to combine their usual merchandise discounts with sale pricing on eligible items.

Some products are expected to be reduced by as much as 50%.

The shopping event arrives during an unusually hot period for the resort.

Temperatures in the Paris region are forecast to reach 104 degrees Fahrenheit on Wednesday, well above the average June high of around 75 degrees.

Disneyland Paris has already adjusted some entertainment offerings because of the heat. Disneyland Park temporarily removed all costumed characters from Disney Stars on Parade except Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Olaf, while several outdoor character encounters have switched to face characters.

It’s unclear whether any additional measures will be introduced for guests expected to queue outside World of Disney when the summer sale begins.
