If you’ve visited EPCOT recently, you may have noticed something missing.
For months, guests walking past the Odyssey Pavilion were greeted by colorful reminders of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Citrus-themed decorations covered the building, helping transform the area into one of the event’s signature locations.
Today, those decorations are gone.

Disney has officially removed the remaining Citrus Blossom theming from the Odyssey Pavilion, eliminating what was arguably the final major visual reminder of the 2026 Flower & Garden Festival.
While it may seem like a small change, it marks another milestone in EPCOT’s ongoing seasonal transformation.
The End of Flower & Garden Season
Every year, Flower & Garden brings a unique energy to EPCOT.
The festival fills the park with elaborate topiaries, specialty food offerings, colorful gardens, and exclusive entertainment. For many Disney fans, it represents one of the most beautiful times of the year to visit.
The Citrus Blossom played an important role in that experience.
The location became known for its citrus-inspired menu and Orange Bird presence, while bright decals and signage helped the Odyssey Pavilion stand out among World Showcase’s many festival locations.
Now, those decorations have officially been removed.
The pavilion’s windows have returned to their normal appearance, and the seasonal overlays that defined the space for months have disappeared.
Why Festival Transitions Matter
One of EPCOT’s greatest strengths is its ability to reinvent itself several times each year.
Unlike many theme parks that maintain the same atmosphere year-round, EPCOT frequently changes through its festival calendar. Those changes encourage repeat visits and give guests new experiences throughout the year.
As a result, even something as simple as removing a set of decals can represent a larger shift happening across the park.
The removal of Citrus Blossom décor signals that Disney is fully turning its attention toward the next major event on the calendar.
Food & Wine Takes Center Stage Next
The next festival arriving at EPCOT is the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
The event runs from August 27 through November 21, 2026, and is included with standard EPCOT admission.
Food & Wine has become one of the resort’s most anticipated annual offerings thanks to its combination of global marketplaces, culinary demonstrations, special menu items, merchandise, and live entertainment.
Many guests plan entire vacations around the festival.
Some visit specifically to sample dishes from booths around World Showcase. Others come for the concerts and seasonal atmosphere. Either way, the event consistently attracts large crowds and remains one of EPCOT’s biggest draws.

The Odyssey Pavilion is expected to receive a new role during the festival, continuing its tradition of serving as one of EPCOT’s featured seasonal locations.
EPCOT’s Cycle Continues
The removal of Flower & Garden décor may not generate the same excitement as a new ride announcement, but it tells an important story about EPCOT.
The park is constantly changing.
This summer, guests can experience Soarin’ Across America as part of the 250th Celebration of America. Later this year, Food & Wine will reshape the park once again. Then another festival will eventually follow.
That cycle has become a defining part of the EPCOT experience.
So while Flower & Garden’s final visual reminder may have officially disappeared, it won’t be long before guests begin spotting signs of the park’s next transformation.
At EPCOT, one season is always ending just as another begins.
