Five Reasons Disney Springs Is About to Have Its Best Summer Yet

If Disney Springs is on your itinerary this summer and you have not checked what is new recently, now is the time to catch up. The district is adding new food concepts, retail openings, a massive entertainment venue, kids programming, and dining events between now and September, collectively making this one of the more exciting summers Disney Springs has seen in recent years. Here is everything you need to know about each item, including what’s coming.

Six Ravens at Disney Springs

The most anticipated food opening of the summer at Disney Springs is Six Ravens, a new concept from the same team behind Gideon’s Bakehouse. If you have been to Gideon’s and understand what that team produces when they take something seriously, the anticipation around this new spot is well earned. Six Ravens will be located just a few doors down from Gideon’s and takes a completely different direction, focusing on savory hand pies called Coffyns, which are homemade yeast rolls with fillings developed in partnership with other Central Florida chefs. No exact opening date has been confirmed, but this is the food opening most regulars are watching most closely heading into summer.

Vans

A new Vans store is also coming to Disney Springs, with signage confirming the location’s arrival back in March. An opening timeline has not been set, and the store may not be ready until later in the summer or beyond. Worth checking for updates as your travel dates approach if the brand is on your shopping list.

LEVEL99

The biggest new addition to Disney Springs this summer is LEVEL99, a real-world challenge-based entertainment experience confirmed to open at the district, with no specific date yet announced. The concept features more than 60 challenge rooms and duels that combine physical and mental challenges, designed for adults, creating a genuinely new category of entertainment at Disney Springs that does not currently exist anywhere else in the district. For groups of adults looking for something interactive and competitive beyond the standard dining and shopping experience, LEVEL99 will be the summer addition most worth planning around once it opens.

Dance Party for Kids at Disney Springs

On the family entertainment side, a new Dance Party is coming to Disney Springs Marketplace on select evenings as part of the Cool Kids Summer event running approximately from May 26 through September 8. The event will feature songs from Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3, timed to celebrate the upcoming Disney+ releases of both films. For families visiting on summer evenings, this gives younger guests a dedicated entertainment moment at the Marketplace that goes beyond browsing and eating.

Flavors of Florida and Orlando’s Magical Dining

Two dining events are also expected to return to Disney Springs this summer for guests who prioritize food experiences. The Flavors of Florida event brings seasonal Florida-inspired menu additions across restaurants and typically runs through the summer months, though specific dates have not been finalized. Orlando’s Magical Dining, the annual prix-fixe dining event that offers strong value across participating Orlando restaurants, including Disney Springs locations, typically returns in August with dates to be announced. Both events are worth tracking for guests planning summer visits who want to maximize their dining experiences at Disney Springs.

Summer at Disney Springs is shaping up to be genuinely worth paying attention to this year. Five meaningful changes across food, retail, entertainment, and dining make this a different version of the district than the one guests visited last summer, and knowing what is coming before you arrive is the difference between experiencing it and walking past it.
