New Disney Home Decor Available at Disney Springs for $12

Walt Disney World has released a new collection of dimensional magnets at Disney Springs featuring park logos and thematic designs. The magnets are priced at $11.99 each and were found at World of Disney.

Three Parks Represented

The collection includes three of Walt Disney World’s four major theme parks:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is notably missing from the collection. It’s currently unknown whether a Hollywood Studios design will be added later or remain omitted from the series.

Magic Kingdom Design – $11.99

The Magic Kingdom magnet uses a colorful design similar to past spirit jerseys. Each letter of “Magic Kingdom” contains different imagery representing iconic attractions and characters:

  • M – Monorail red with tropical scene and castle backdrop
  • A – Orange Bird
  • G – Mickey Mouse
  • I – it’s a small world
  • C – Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • K – Jungle Cruise
  • I – Pirates of the Caribbean
  • N – Dumbo the Flying Elephant
  • G – Haunted Mansion
  • DSpace Mountain and Tomorrowland
  • O – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
  • M – Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This design creates a comprehensive visual summary of Magic Kingdom’s most iconic experiences compressed into the park’s name.

EPCOT Design – $11.99

The EPCOT magnet takes a different approach with a singular geometric pattern echoing Spaceship Earth’s geodesic structure. The design includes the classic globe-inspired graphic logo designed by Norm Inouye, originally used at EPCOT Center’s 1982 opening.

The retro logo appeals to fans nostalgic for the park’s earlier incarnation and reflects Disney’s recent embrace of vintage EPCOT branding on new merchandise.

Animal Kingdom Design – $11.99

The Animal Kingdom magnet follows the inlaid graphics approach similar to Magic Kingdom. Each letter of “Animal Kingdom” features imagery of various animals including tigers, giraffes, and zebras.

The “Kingdom” portion showcases different environments where these animals live:

  • Savanna landscapes
  • Lush jungle settings
  • Birds in cloudy skies

The design mirrors the park’s thematic structure organized around different geographic regions and ecosystems.

Where to Find Them at Disney

The magnets were discovered at World of Disney in Disney Springs, the flagship Disney merchandise location. Given their park-specific designs, they may also be available at their respective theme parks, allowing guests to purchase Magic Kingdom magnets while visiting, for example.

Pricing and Disney Appeal

At $11.99, the magnets are positioned as affordable souvenirs that fall well below apparel costs like spirit jerseys while offering more design detail than basic flat magnets or pins.

The dimensional construction adds physical depth and visual interest beyond flat printed designs, creating a more premium feel while remaining budget-friendly enough to encourage collecting multiple parks.

The Hollywood Studios Question

The absence of Hollywood Studios leaves the collection feeling incomplete for guests seeking comprehensive Walt Disney World representation. The $11.99 price point and collectible nature naturally encourage fans to want complete sets representing all four major parks.

If Hollywood Studios eventually joins the collection, the design will need to balance the park’s dual identity, celebrating both the golden age of Hollywood and contemporary franchises, including Star Wars, Toy Story, and other Disney and Pixar properties.

The mystery surrounding whether Hollywood Studios will be added creates anticipation among Disney merchandise collectors who follow new product releases and seek comprehensive collections.

Disney Collectible Strategy

The collection’s potential incompleteness may drive additional interest if a fourth magnet eventually releases. Collectors who purchased the initial three parks would likely want to complete their sets, creating built-in demand for a Hollywood Studios addition.

The affordable pricing makes these magnets attractive as both personal souvenirs and gifts for Disney fans, with the relatively low cost enabling purchases of multiple parks without significant budget impact.
