Confirmed: Food Ordering Unavailable at All Four Disney World Theme Parks
Guests across Walt Disney World Resort experienced major disruptions to their dining plans on Tuesday morning as Mobile Ordering via the My Disney Experience app went down at every theme park. The outage hit just as crowds were settling in for the day, forcing Disney cast members to quickly adjust as the resort’s primary Quick Service ordering system became unavailable.
Mobile Ordering Outage Confirmed

The issue affected Quick Service locations throughout Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resort hotels. Mobile Ordering—accessed through the My Disney Experience app—briefly became nonfunctional, leaving Walt Disney World Resort guests unable to place digital food orders as usual.
Those attempting to order were met with a pop-up message:
“Mobile Ordering is Temporarily Unavailable
Mobile ordering is unavailable at this time. Please check back later. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
Cloudflare, a major internet infrastructure provider used by companies such as X (formerly known as Twitter), Spotify, and ChatGPT, reported widespread system issues on Tuesday morning. According to early reporting, the downtime at Walt Disney World Resort was “likely related” to Cloudflare’s outage.
A Critical System for Disney Dining

Over the last several years, Mobile Ordering has become the primary method of operating Quick Service dining at Walt Disney World Resort. Many cash registers have been removed or repurposed as pickup counters, and the few remaining registers often see lengthy lines. With so much of the resort dependent on the My Disney Experience app, the outage caused immediate delays and confusion for guests hoping to grab a bite to eat.
Disney cast members worked quickly to reopen registers and explain the situation to guests, including those who had already attempted to pre-order their food. With Mobile Ordering down park-wide, lines grew at multiple Quick Service dining locations as Walt Disney World Resort scrambled to keep up with demand.
On-the-Ground Reports

Theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin on X, formerly known as Twitter) shared an image of the outage message and confirmed the likely cause:
Mobile ordering is temporarily unavailable at Walt Disney World. The outage is likely related to the Cloudflare issues from earlier today.

App Service Restored at Walt Disney World Resort
Mobile Ordering began to return around 1:00 p.m. EST. Disney Dining verified its restoration through screenshots taken inside the My Disney Experience app, confirming that arrival windows were once again available at Magic Kingdom Park. By early afternoon, the service was fully operational across all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resort hotels.

Cloudflare confirmed that its network had stabilized, stating: “We are no longer observing elevated errors or latency across the network.”
