Three Dates Remain Before Disney’s Magic Kingdom Party Sells Out for 2025

The pumpkin lights are glowing, the ghost projections are swirling on Main Street, and the Halloween music is floating through the Florida air—which can only mean one thing: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is in full swing at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. But if you’re still trying to get in this year, you’re about to hit a wall.

Almost every date for the 2025 event is now completely sold out. That includes every single night in August, most of September, and nearly all of October—including Halloween itself.

Only three dates are still available, and once they’re gone, that’s it for 2025.

This year’s version of Disney’s after-hours Halloween celebration features new character experiences, returning fan-favorite shows, exclusive snacks and treats, spooky ride overlays, and more. And while you can still snag a ticket if you act quickly, there’s very little room left for procrastination.

Here Are the Only Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates Still Available in 2025:

  • September 28 – $169

  • September 30 – $179

  • October 26 – $209

All other party nights have been marked “sold out” on Disney’s official website. That includes popular Fridays, Saturdays, and all mid-to-late October events. Even mid-week dates, which typically go last, are gone.

It’s worth noting that the final remaining October date, October 26, carries the highest price tag of the three and is often one of the most popular in the final stretch before Halloween. That ticket could be the next to vanish.

If you’re unfamiliar with this hard-ticket event, here’s the rundown. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (or MNSSHP for the Disney acronym crowd) is a special after-hours experience at Magic Kingdom that gives guests access to exclusive entertainment, themed food and merchandise, and walk-on access to major attractions, all with a spooky (but not scary) twist.

The party typically runs from 7:00 PM to midnight, but ticket holders are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 PM, giving guests three extra hours in the park before the event officially kicks off.

In many ways, this party has become the centerpiece of Disney’s fall season, drawing repeat visitors year after year with its festive mix of Halloween charm and crowd-limited access to the park.

What’s New for 2025

While the general format of the party hasn’t changed drastically, there are some key updates to the experience this year.

1. Character Experiences Are Getting an Upgrade

One of the biggest updates in 2025 is the introduction of new and improved character meet-and-greets. Longtime favorites Jack Skellington and Sally return, but this year they’re debuting more screen-accurate costumes with facial designs that better match their look in The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Another major change: Mickey and Minnie Mouse will meet guests together in Halloween costumes, inside the Town Square Theater. It’s the first time the two will appear together in coordinated fall outfits during this event.

2. New Dance Party Inspired by ZOMBIES 4

In a nod to Disney Channel’s ever-growing ZOMBIES franchise, the 2025 party introduces a new dance party themed around ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires. It’s designed to attract a younger crowd (and their Disney+ streaming parents), and you’ll find it playing in one of the Tomorrowland or Fantasyland entertainment zones with music, lights, and character cameos.

Returning Favorites Still on the Schedule

If you’ve attended in previous years, you’ll be pleased to know that several fan favorites are back—and unchanged where it counts.

“Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade
Running at 8:15 PM on party nights, this parade blends Disney charm with Halloween fun. You’ll see characters like Clarabelle Cow in a Halloween cowgirl getup, grave diggers scraping their shovels in sync with the music, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts from Haunted Mansion making their eerie march down the parade route. Villains, pirates, and dancers fill out the rest of the show, all set to the iconic Boo-To-You soundtrack.

“Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” Stage Show
The Sanderson Sisters return again this year for their castle-front stage show, which brings together Disney’s most notorious villains for a spell-filled performance. Expect appearances from the likes of Hades, Dr. Facilier, Cruella De Vil, and more. The show runs several times per night, making it easier to fit in around other must-dos.

“Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” Fireworks
This projection-heavy show uses Cinderella Castle as its canvas, transforming it into a haunted house while Jack Skellington narrates a Halloween adventure featuring Mickey and friends. Zero, Jack’s ghost dog, also plays a central role in leading them through the story, which culminates in a stunning fireworks finale.

Spooky Ride Overlays Continue in 2025

While not every ride changes for the party, several attractions are modified exclusively for these nights. They’re not available during standard operating hours, so they’re worth prioritizing if you attend.

  • Space Mountain operates in complete darkness, with a new haunting audio track.

  • Mad Tea Party features altered lighting and party music to give it a more eerie (but fun) tone.

  • Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor becomes a Halloween-themed joke fest, with monsters interacting with partygoers as they trick-or-treat through the theater.

Yes, There’s Still Trick-or-Treating—and Tons of It

Guests of all ages can collect candy throughout Magic Kingdom during the party. There are designated treat trails set up around the park, and Disney provides bags when you enter (though veterans know to bring a bigger one).

For those with dietary needs, Disney continues to offer allergy-friendly options. Ask at the front of the park and you’ll be given a special teal token to exchange at designated locations for allergy-safe treats.

Why This Event Sells Out (and Fast)

There are a few reasons this party consistently sells out earlier every year:

  • Capacity is limited, meaning far fewer guests in the park compared to regular daytime crowds.

  • Exclusive experiences that can’t be accessed any other way.

  • Family appeal—it’s Halloween fun without the blood and gore.

  • Merchandise, food, and photo ops that are unavailable during regular hours.

Many Disney fans build entire vacations around these dates—and when they go, they go quickly.

Final Ticket Availability Recap

Only three dates remain for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2025:

  • September 28 — $169

  • September 30 — $179

  • October 26 — $209

Tickets must be purchased in advance through disneyworld.disney.go.com, and once these dates are gone, no additional availability will be added.

If you’re serious about attending, this is your final window.
