Disney Just Confirmed the Ultimate Summer Glow-Up

Summer is about to get a whole lot brighter at Walt Disney World. After months of anticipation, Disney has finally announced the return of H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon—and the dates are officially locked in!

The glowing water park bash kicks off on May 23, 2025, and will continue on select nights all the way through September 13, 2025. That’s nearly four months of splash-filled fun under the stars.

For families looking for something different from the usual Disney park routine, H2O Glow After Hours brings the ultimate night out. Think water slides with no long waits, dancing with Disney characters under neon lights, and snacks that come included with your ticket—yes, even Mickey bars.

Disney fans already familiar with the water parks know that Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach alternate operations. This year, Blizzard Beach will close its gates after a special 30th-anniversary celebration that wraps up on April 30. Just one day later, Typhoon Lagoon will reopen on May 1, leading into its glowing summer season.

The event is hosted by none other than Partysaurus Rex from Toy Story, setting the tone for a high-energy, beachy party filled with DJ music, special lighting effects, and colorful vibes.

Along with the atmosphere, guests will get access to fan-favorite attractions like Castaway Creek and the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool—without the regular daytime crowds. Plus, exclusive menu items like Chicken & Mickey Waffle Sliders and the Glow-versized Loaded Baked Potato are new for 2025.

Tickets go on sale April 1 for Disney Resort hotel guests and April 4 for the general public. Adults will pay $85, but kids can get in for half that—just $42.50. If you’re a Disney Vacation Club member or Annual Passholder, you can save even more.

So grab your swim gear and get ready to glow—it’s going to be a wild (and wet) summer night at Typhoon Lagoon!
