Universal Studios Florida is getting ready to roll out the red carpet again in 2025, bringing back two of its biggest hits from last year: CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular and the Universal Mega Movie Parade. These fan-favorite experiences are returning with packed schedules, promising an unforgettable blend of music, storytelling, and blockbuster fun.
Here’s when you can see them—and why this year’s entertainment may be even bigger.
“CineSational” Returns for a Dazzling Nighttime Experience
Starting April 14, the lagoon at Universal Studios Florida will once again become the stage for CineSational. This nighttime spectacular combines fireworks, water effects, film music, projections, and drones to create an all-out tribute to Universal’s most beloved movies.
Performances run nightly through April 24, plus April 26–27, and then return for the summer season from May 22 through August 24. After a drone incident led to temporary removal of those segments last year, safety improvements have brought them back—along with new drone choreography featuring Princess Peach.
Whether you’re watching for the tech, the tunes, or the nostalgia, this show packs in all three.
Universal Mega Movie Parade Brings Blockbusters to Life
Starting just two days before CineSational, the Mega Movie Parade returns on April 12 with daily performances through April 24. After that, it sticks around for multiple stretches through mid-November, giving guests plenty of chances to catch the spectacle.
This isn’t your average theme park parade. Expect full-scale floats, live performers, and jaw-dropping scenes based on movies like Jurassic World and Ghostbusters. Whether you’re a longtime fan or bringing kids for their first Universal trip, the parade has something for everyone.
Big Hints Point to a Larger Summer Celebration
Universal’s trademark filing for “Universal Mega Movie Summer” has the fan community buzzing. While there’s no official confirmation yet, it’s likely this will tie together CineSational and the Mega Movie Parade as part of a broader seasonal event. That could mean extended park hours, exclusive entertainment, and new surprises along the way.
Either way, these two show that Universal isn’t holding back in 2025.
