9. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Starting small on this list, the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offer a number of packages for young knights and princesses to be transformed in true Disney fashion. There are 3 locations on Disney property, the most popular being inside Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom, while the others are located at Disney Springs and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

8. Private Surfing
At Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon waterpark, guests who are willing to wake up early can attend a surfing lesson before the park opens. For around $165, you can attend a class taught by a surfing pro and try to catch the 6-foot waves generated in the wave pool. Aboard a soft-sided surf board, it’s the perfect place for beginners looking to try it out, and for intermediate surfers to get a refresher. Of course, if you’re a seasoned surfer, you can always book a private surf in the morning or evening where you and up to 25 people can ride your custom waves. The cost for a private surf is between $1,100 and $2,100 depending on the time of day and the number of waves you’d like.
7. Wild Africa Trek
For guests who love the Kilimanjaro Safaris over at Animal Kingdom, the 18-minute journey afforded by the attraction may not be enough to satisfy their desire to see the animals up close and personal. The Wild Africa Trek is a privately guided VIP tour through the savannah aboard a rugged safari vehicle, where you get to learn insights into the animals found throughout the attraction and how they are cared for. You’ll also cross 10 feet above hippos and crocodiles along a rope bridge and sample some snacks from a menu that changes, depending on if your 3-hour tour takes place in the morning or the afternoon. Depending on the time of year, the cost for the trek can range between $189 and $249.
6. Deluxe Resort
While many of the unique opportunities occur within the parks, one of the best ways to splurge on a Disney Vacation is to stay in a Deluxe Resort. At Walt Disney World, there are several Deluxe resorts to choose from, each with their own theming. Next to the Animal Kingdom park is the Animal Kingdom Lodge, with an incredible view of savannas that are home to over 200 birds and animals, as well as one of the largest collections of African art in the United States. Next to Epcot are Disney’s Beach Club, Yacht Club and BoardWalk Inn Resorts, with their relaxed nautical themes and laid-back atmosphere. Disney’s Riviera Resort is on the Skyliner loop between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Near the Magic Kingdom, deluxe resorts include the Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge. 5. Private Fireworks Cruise
If you love to experience the wonder of Disney fireworks, but don’t enjoy staking out a spot in advance, you can book a private fireworks cruise for you and up to 10 guests. There are lots of variations in packages and pricing since you can choose between a standard pontoon boat or opt for the luxurious Grand 1 Yacht. For Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom, your boat will drop anchor in the Seven Seas Lagoon, while the beautiful score can be synchronized on the boat. For Epcot’s fireworks, boats sail up the International Gateway near the World Showcase Lagoon. You can always add dining options to each cruise, but basic packages hover between $300-$350 – or you can book the Grand 1 Yacht for roughly $480 per hour.

Inside the Grand Floridian Resort is the signature fine dining restaurant Victoria & Albert’s. No other restaurant on Disney property compares to the elegant dining experience here, with a menu that changes daily and chefs whose culinary experience is second to none. Ingredients are flown in from around the world to create the 7 and 10-course meals available to guests. With seating available in Victoria & Albert’s Dining Room, Queen Victoria’s Room or the Chef’s table, the culinary display here is matched only by the incredible atmosphere around you. While many of the menus are Prix Fixe, there are upgrades and options you can choose from for each course. Base costs for dinner are between $189 and $250 per person, but if you would like to add wine pairings to dinner, the cost then ranges between $250-$400 per person.
3. VIP Tour
While there are several regular tours that are offered in the Disney Parks, guests who are looking for a more personalized touch can book a private VIP tour. There are several specialized VIP tours that include the Ultimate Day at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, the Ultimate Day for Young Families Tour, and the Ultimate Day of Thrills Tour – each with their own itinerary for a 7-hour tour through the parks with attractions, dining and events included. These specialized VIP tours are around $300 per person. Whether you’d like a large reception at the Contemporary Resort, or a special evening meal outside of the Tower of Terror, the planners at Disney Catered Events will help you achieve whatever you imagine and the Disney chefs will help create a customized menu to satisfy your taste buds. Venue rental fees vary depending on your location, but they can range from $400-$2,500. There are also minimum amounts that you need to spend on food and beverage, which also depend on what the menu, as well as the number of guests. Food and beverage minimums can range between $1,500 – $5,000.
1. Crystal Cinderella Castle
The final splurge on our list is the most expensive souvenir you can purchase at Walt Disney World. Designed by the Arribas Brothers, this 20″ tall sculpture includes over 28,000 Swarovski crystals and is the ultimate display piece for any fan of Walt Disney World. It comes with a hefty price tag of $37,500 and a certificate of authenticity. There is a miniature version (around 7″ tall) that is significantly cheaper, but still comes in at $6,000.
