8 Things You’ll Love About Raglan Road At Walt Disney World

Disney Springs has been getting a major makeover lately. New is usually best, but sometimes the classics hold up. Raglan Road has been around for a while, but it is a fantastic restaurant with great food, lots of beer, entertaining music, and an all around cool vibe. Here are 8 things you’ll love about Raglan Road:

8. Atmosphere

When you step into Raglan Road, you immediately feel like you’ve walked into a pub in Ireland. Expect for the spaciousness of the Florida restaurant, it’s exactly the same. Between the music, bustling servers, the wafting scent of Guinness, and hearty laugher, you might as well be in Ireland. And it’s bloody brilliant.

7. Food

Real Irish food is hearty and rich and absolutely delicious. The menu at Raglan Road provides a large array of authentic Irish dishes, like bangers and mash (Bangers and Booz, as they call it), shepherd’s pie, fish and chips and more. Raglan Road takes its heritage seriously, so definitely does not skimp on the food. When order a meal, you are getting the real Irish deal.

6. Entertainment

One of the best parts of Raglan Road is its music and dancing. Throughout the day and night, there is a regular show during your meal. The Raglan Road dancers and musicians come out to show the guests what Irish entertainment looks like. When the weather is nice, there is sometimes a band that even plays outside. These performers are amazing and completely authentic. You’ll want to stick around just for them!

5. The Bars

Need I say more? It’s no secret that beer is a big deal in Ireland. So Raglan Road does not disappoint. The restaurant actually has four different bars to choose from. The cool thing is that two of these bars were brought over directly from Ireland. They serve American and Irish drafts all day long, or really whatever else you want. Suddenly I’m craving a Guinness…

4. Cast Members

The Cast Members all over Disney property are amazing, no denying that, but those at Raglan Road are really cool. Not all of the Cast Members are from Ireland, but many are. It’s so fun to talk to them about their home or just the Irish culture or whatever else; they seem to truly enjoy it too. Cast Members help add to the atmosphere of Raglan Road in a really great way.

3. Late Night

Since Raglan Road is in Disney Springs, they understand that guests are hanging out late and are going to want a bite to eat. Raglan Road has a great menu that extends from brunch to dinner. But what’s special is that it also offers a late night menu that includes snacks and smaller plates for those midnight cravings.

2. Gift Shop

Normally I don’t consider gift shops to be a plus in any situation, but the Raglan Road gift shop is super fun. This gift shop has typical souvenir type things, like Raglan Road t-shirts and key chains, but it also has awesome important merchandise from Ireland. I love checking out their perfumes and lotions and family crests. Definitely worth a peruse!

1. Cookes of Dublin

Raglan Road has one other cool factor: Cookes of Dublin. This is a quick serve-type place on the side of Raglan Road. It still serves authentic Irish dishes, but with a smaller variety and a grab and go feeling. There is cool outside seating, though. Here you can grab some fish and chips and a pint and be on your way!
