8 Things You’ll Love About Narcoossee’s at Walt Disney World

One of Disney World’s most beautiful resort hotels is the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. And one of the nicest restaurants on Disney property is Narcoossee’s at the Grand Floridian. If you’re looking for a special place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, or if you’re looking for a great place for date night, you’ve got to visit Narcoossee’s. Here are eight things you’ll love about it!

8. Location, location, location!

Narcoossee’s is located at Disney’s beautiful Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. If you’ve ever visited the Grand Floridian, whether for a resort stay or just for dinner at 1900 Park Fare, you know that it’s one of the most gorgeous resorts on Disney property. Its red rooftops and Victorian-inspired elegance are only the beginning. Once you step inside the resort, you’ll be carried away by the sounds of live ragtime and jazz music or some of your favorite Disney songs played by the pianist in the sprawling lobby.

7. Panoramic views

At Narcoossee’s, one of the most wonderful things is the view you’ll have from the verandah. Look out over the lagoon for breathtaking views of the Magic Kingdom area. At night, see the fireworks over Magic Kingdom and watch the Electrical Water Pageant.

6. Delectable entrees

There are many delicious entrees from which to choose on the menu at Narcoossee’s. Choose from items like butter-poached twin Maine lobster tails, seared halibut, salmon, shrimp and pasta, filet mignon, New York strip steak and pork tenderloin. Check the menu online at disneyworld.disney.go.com before you go, as the menu tends to change with the seasons—the chefs at Narcoossee’s like to keep things creative!

5. Scrumptious desserts

The desserts at Narcoossee’s are reason enough to visit this spectacular restaurant. The famous almond-crusted cheesecake is incomparable. Try the coconut and chocolate crème brulee or the no-sugar-added chocolate torte. Also worth mentioning is the mango sorbet, served with melon, pineapple and berries.

4. Narcoossee’s is a Disney Signature Restaurant

Disney’s Signature Restaurants offer some of the best dining experiences available. A meal at a Disney Signature restaurant usually costs a little bit more, but the food and the service are worth every penny. Narcoossee’s is no different. You are guaranteed a delicious meal, prepared by culinary experts and served to you buy a waitstaff that is second to none.

3. There is a dress code.

Don’t let this be a deterrent to you. On the contrary, a dress code at Narcoossee’s only adds to the ambiance and the experience. Men who visit usually wear pants and a nice shirt, and women often wear pants and a nice blouse or a sundress. The dress code at Narcoossee’s makes an already special occasion even more so.

2. The verandah

As we mentioned above, you’ll enjoy great panoramic views of the Seven Seas Lagoon when you dine at Narcoossee’s. Some of the most glorious views are those you’ll get when you are on the verandah at the restaurant, which is situated right over the water.
