I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maria and Enzo’s in Disney Springs. I had no idea what it was all about when I first walked in, but I was pleasantly surprised! Maria and Enzo’s was such a treat! It was classy, fun, and delicious! I loved it. I think you will too. Here are eight reasons why:
1. Décor
Maria and Enzo’s looks and feels like stepping back in time. The interior of the restaurant is themed after an old-time airport, complete with gates, travel posters, and more. The main restaurant room is remarkable to see. The dining room is sunken in the building. When you enter, you have to walk down a grand staircase to the lower level where you will be seated. Servers don classic white, while busboys wear blue striped long sleeves reminiscent of Venice gondola rowers.
2. Story
The story behind this unique restaurant is so sweet. According to history, Maria and Enzo were childhood sweethearts back in Italy. They wanted to be together, but Maria’s parents moved her family to America, breaking the two lovers up. They were both heartbroken. With Maria in America, Enzo entered the Great War as a pilot. Once the war ended, Enzo landed his plane at the Landing in Disney Springs. He wandered into a bakery to find Maria behind the counter. They instantly reunited and started the restaurant together. For the full story, ask your waiter: they’d love to tell you!
3. Pizza Counter
A cool aspect of Maria and Enzo’s is the pizza counter. Right next to the check in desk and restaurant entrance is a spot for take out pizza. I don’t believe this requires reservations or even calling ahead. This is a great option for those who don’t want to spend the time or money on a big sit down experience, but still want to enjoy a nice meal. There are some tables and umbrellas outside the counter, but you could take the pizza anywhere over Disney Springs!

4. Enzo’s Hideaway
Enzo’s Hideaway is so cool. This is separate from the restaurant in everything but Enzo’s name. The Hideaway is across the path from Maria and Enzo’s and requires its own reservations and tables. This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink or a small appetizer. Enzo’s Hideaway actually has the largest selection of rums and scotches in all of Disney Springs. It’s modeled after the rum-running history of Florida and does it well!
5. Family Friendly
Maria and Enzo’s is a nice, unique dining experience that is still family friendly. None of the dishes are too fancy or anything like that. The menu has authentic, hearty Italian meals that everyone in the family would enjoy. Try the chicken parmesan as a sharing meal! The piece of chicken is massive – the size of an entire plate! Order the chicken parm with two side dishes of spaghetti and you’re good to go!
6. The View
Located on the Disney Springs Landing means that Maria and Enzo’s has some terrific views. The main dining room overlooks the water and surrounding buildings and restaurants. During the day you can enjoy all of the fun and zest that Disney Springs has to offer. And both during the day and at night, you can be entertained by the Aerophile as it launches and lands!
7. Passholder Discount
Disney Springs is a great spot for Annual Passholders. Annual Passholders get lots of discounts around Disney property. And at Disney Springs, they get 10% Merchandise and Dining (in most places). This is a tremendous plus for those wanting to spend some time here. And, for Maria and Enzo’s first year of business, Passholders get a 40% discount on brunch!
8. Brunch
Speaking of…if a 40% Passholder discount isn’t enough of an incentive, maybe the menu will do. Maria and Enzo’s brunch menu is an explosion of fresh flavors: arancini, caprese, ravioli, steak pizzaiola, endless mimosas, and an entire prix fixe option! On Sundays, Maria and Enzo’s also hosts Sunday Brunch with its own scrumptious menu.
