When I was little, my grandma used to call me in the dead of New England winter and say, “Oh, hello, I’m just sitting at Casey’s, eating a hot dog, looking at the Castle, and thinking of you. How’s the snow?” My grandma had a killer sense of humor. But it’s no wonder she loved Casey’s so much! It’s an all around great restaurant for its food, views, and more! Here are 8 things you’ll love about Casey’s Corner too:
8. The Hot Dogs
Come on, who are we kidding? Casey’s Corner is all about the hot dogs. Sometimes you have to go for the classic and Casey’s has got you covered. I definitely don’t go into Disney with the intention of getting or craving a hot dog, but Casey’s is just so inviting. And they know how to dress up a hot dog. From chili to cheese to regular, you have to try it.
7. The Mini-Corn Dogs
However, if you’re wanting something a little lighter but still completely horrible for you, you gotta go for the mini-corn dogs. These are my weakness. Casey’s gives you a full container of pop-in-your-mouth goodness. You still get the fully Casey’s experience, but more in snack form.
6. The View
As it is on the – you guessed it – corner of Main Street, Casey’s provides a brilliant view of Cinderella Castle. I love grabbing my mini-corn dogs and watching the Castle stage show or a bit of the parade. It can be so hard to get a good spot for these things on Main Street, but Casey’s provides the perfect option!
5. Jim
Have you ever walked down Main Street and sworn you heard a piano? (And not the “music lessons” happening in the apartments above.) Chances are this was Jim. Jim is the amazing ragtime pianist that sits right outside Casey’s Corner. He plays all of your favorite Disney tunes, or really anything that you want to hear. Not only is he a great pianist, he’s a wonderful guy. Make sure you say hi the next time you stop by.
4. Seating
As far as quick serve places go, Casey’s has a pretty good amount of seating. Casey’s renovated so that there is a ton of seating on the inside of the restaurant, adjacent to the ordering station. But I really love all of the seating outside so it’s less cramped and you get that great view and can hear Jim!
3. The Ducks
A weird, but unique part of Casey’s is the presence of their resident ducks! If you’re eating outside at Casey’s, you are almost guaranteed to see these ducks. It is important to remember that Disney guests should not ever feed the animals on property. But it’s nice to know that they’re there as a fixed part of Casey’s.

2. Convenience
Being right on Main Street, it doesn’t get much more convenient than Casey’s. Other than the Starbucks, Casey’s is the first quick serve place in the Park. It’s super easy to just dart into Casey’s and grab a quick snack and be on your way. Casey’s is also prepared for that inevitable “finally in the park, gotta eat now,” rush with their many lines and fast workers.
1. The Feel
The absolute best thing about Casey’s Corner is the feel of the restaurant. It truly feels like a classic, old-time hot dog stand at the ballpark. From the décor to the wafting scent of French fries, Casey’s makes you feel like you’re there. Make sure to take some time when you’re there to look around the place at all the hidden baseball gems. I always make sure to snag a picture with the wooden statues by the door and that brilliant, giant C neon sign!
