Magic Kingdom has the most attractions to tackle out of all the parks at Walt Disney World. There simply isn’t enough time in one day to do them all, in fact there may not even be time in multiple visits to the Magic Kingdom to do them all. So how do you narrow down which attractions to prioritize? We have a list of 8 attractions we think you should include on your Disney Must-Do List for a day at Magic Kingdom.

8. The Jungle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise is a classic Disney attraction at Magic Kingdom. It’s located in Adventureland, and is a boat ride through the rivers of Africa, South America and Asia. Your boat ride is led by a Skipper, who will infuse your cruise with humor. It’s the puns that make this attraction unlike any other at Magic Kingdom. The cast members do an incredible job of creating the comedic atmosphere of this ride. You may notice there seems to be somewhat of a script that the Skippers adhere to, but there is quite a bit of improvisation happening as well. But, there are a few classic puns and jokes we always hope to hear on the Jungle Cruise as they have become entrenched in the ride experience. Some of those include being shown the backside of water, or being told it’s okay to watch the elephants bathe because they have their trunks on. Many of the jokes will make you groan, but in the best way possible!
7. The Festival of Fantasy
Currently the Festival of Fantasy is the only regular showing parade at Magic Kingdom, and it is most definitely a must-do. It’s full of color, gorgeous costumes, catchy music, beautiful floats and best of all guests will see many of their favorite Disney characters in the parade. The Festival of Fantasy features characters and floats from Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty just to name a few, and the Mickey and Minnie float even has characters from Fantasia.
6. Let the Magic Begin
Make your way to the castle about 15 minutes prior to the official opening of Magic Kingdom to see Let the Magic Begin. It’s a five-minute show in front of the castle that welcomes guests to the Magic Kingdom for the day. Mickey and many of his friends and Disney princesses come out and say hello to everyone. This short show is the perfect way to start a day off at the most magical place in the world.

5. Pirates of the Caribbean
Experience the attraction that started the movies of the same name, which created that infamous pirate we all love, Jack Sparrow. Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the quintessential Disney attractions. Walt Disney himself passed away only three months before the original Pirates opened in Disneyland, making this attraction one of the last attractions Disney himself oversaw. Experiencing the Pirates in Walt Disney World is just one way to see how Walt Disney continues to influence the magic at the parks.
4. Happily Ever After
Every day at Magic Kingdom should end with fireworks, and Happily Ever After not only illuminates the night sky with bright colors, but it also has an amazing soundtrack, gorgeous HD projections on the castle and Tinker Bell continues her longstanding tradition of flying overhead from the castle. Happily Ever After takes all the magic of the day and Disney movies, and combines it into one big finale at the end of the night.
3. The Railroad
Walt Disney was huge train enthusiast and riding the Walt Disney World Railroad around the Magic Kingdom is just one of the wonderful ways to experience some of the history the park has to offer. It’s not the fastest way to get around the park, but you’ll get a difference view of the park, and you can just sit back and relax and listen to the narration and take in all the Disney magic at a slower pace.
2. The Haunted Mansion
A visit to the Magic Kingdom wouldn’t be complete without a stop to visit the 999 happy haunts at the Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square. Although this attraction might sound scary, it’s good fun for the whole family. Grim Grinning Ghosts is the upbeat song that haunts sing that will be stuck in your head all day.  The attraction also has a number of special effects that you won’t want to miss out on. The ballroom is one of the best scenes for this reason. The ghosts appear and quickly disappear again, and you can see right through them! This effect is known as “Pepper’s Ghost”. Don’t miss out on the dancing ghosts and the party in the graveyard and put the Haunted Mansion on your must-do list at Magic Kingdom.
1. The Mountains
This one is kind of cheating by grouping all the mountains together, but it’s impossible to choose just one of these attractions. All the mountain attractions should be on your must-do list at Magic Kingdom. The mountains include Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Even if you can’t fit all the mountains into one day at Magic Kingdom, try to do at least one or two. Each mountain ride has immersive storytelling, unique theming and delivers thrills for the whole family!
