2. Kilimanjaro Safaris

One of the most popular attractions in Disney’s Animal Kingdom can be found in the village of Harambe in the Africa section of the park. Kilimanjaro Safaris invites guests to embark on two week long safaris in the beautiful Harambe Reserve. Guests board authentic safari vehicles and take off on a thrilling adventure through the forests and savannahs of the reserve. Along the way, there are plenty of up close experiences with animals like elephants, rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, and flamingos. Since the animals are free roaming, guests can enjoy a totally unique experience each time on Kilimanjaro Safaris, making the attraction a major highlight in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The icon of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a massive and beautiful centerpiece that can be seen from many places throughout the park.
