Yes, you read that right! For the cost of a low-end car, a motorcycle, or semester of college tuition, etc. you could dine at 21 Royal, Disneyland’s new extravagant restaurant. Â The restaurant is located in the area that was meant to be Walt Disney’s private apartment. Â This space happens to be located right above the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and overlooks the New Orlean’s Square area of the theme park. Â The experience is extremely intimate and only for 12 people, which is part of the reason for the steep price tag. Â This boils down to $1,250 per person for the evening. Â The price also includes theme park admission for 12 people, taxes and gratuities, parking and valet service from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
The meal starts with cocktails in the courtyard area. Â Then the guests are taken to the main dining room area where a 7-course dinner is served. Â After dinner, guest can opt to either have their dessert and coffee from the dining room or out on the balcony where there is a view of the evening fireworks. Â During the meal there is a butler, sommelier and servers on staff to see to your needs. Â The staff is specially trained to provide this kind of intimate experience and play their part well like you were really dining in true elegance. Â They also have a ton of Disney knowledge and help to create a rich, unique event unlike any other that you could ever receive anywhere else in the world.
