New Holiday Show Hits the Magic Kingdom!

Walt Disney World has released more details about the “Frozen”-themed holiday show that will take place at Magic Kingdom starting next week.

According to news source including the Disney Parks Blog and the Orlando Sentinel, “A Frozen Holiday Wish” will precede the nightly icicle-inspired lighting of Cinderella Castle between Nov. 5 and Dec. 31. The all-new production will include characters Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf, the fun-loving snowman.

Disney World has been incorporating attractions and events from the “Frozen” movie, which debuted a year ago. It has made more than $1.3 billion at the box office worldwide.

Elements of the company’s “Frozen Fun Summer” promotion have carried over into the fall and winter at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the Maelstrom ride at Epcot has been closed in favor of a “Frozen” attraction.

“A Frozen Holiday Wish” features Anna and Elsa in an all-new show on the Castle Forecourt Stage. With special appearances by Kristoff and lovable snowman Olaf, the show culminates in Queen Elsa who will transform Cinderella Castle into a glimmering ice palace for the holidays.

“A Frozen Holiday Wish” begins November 5 and will be presented nightly through December 31, 2014.
