Servings: 6 tails
Course: Snack
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 24 marshmallows (regular size)
  • 11 oz bag Kraft caramel bits
  • 10 oz bag Ghiradelli White Melting Wafers
  • 1 cup orange sanding sugar (see notes above)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil

Equipment

  • 6" candy sticks

Method

  1. Step 1: Stack 4 marshmallows on each candy stick.
Five skewers with three white marshmallows each, resembling Tigger Tails, are laid out in a row on a pristine white surface.
  2. Step 2: Melt caramel bits according to package directions and allow to cool slightly (if it is too hot it will melt your marshmallows). Dip marshmallows into the caramel and shake off excess caramel. Allow to cool 5-10 minutes or until caramel has hardened.
  3. Step 3: Pour orange sanding sugar onto a tray or in a baking pan and set aside.
Melt white chocolate melts according to package directions. You want it to be JUST melted and not too hot. Dip the caramel-covered marshmallows into the white chocolate and shake off excess.
A marshmallow on a stick, resembling Tigger Tails, is being dipped into a creamy white coating inside a glass jar. The scene is set on a speckled granite countertop with a knife and a floral cloth nearby.
  4. Step 4: Immediately roll the tigger tail in the sugar until coated. Spoon sugar over areas that didn't get coated completely.
A hand is dipping a Tigger Tail—a white chocolate-covered food item on a stick—into orange-colored sugar or sprinkles inside a rectangular pan. Surrounding are a jar of white chocolate and additional white-covered items on sticks.
  5. Step 5: Place Tigger tails on a plate or tray and set aside to cool.
Four crispy, breaded corn dogs on sticks are placed on a white paper plate. Beside the plate, reminiscent of Tigger Tails, there is a spill of white shredded cheese and some crumbs on parchment paper.
  6. Step 6: In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave for 15 seconds at a time until just melted, stirring each time.
Using a spoon, drizzle chocolate over the Tigger tails. Allow chocolate to cool and harden before serving (they can also be refrigerated until ready to serve).
Three orange ice pops on sticks, resembling Tigger Tails, are drizzled with chocolate sauce. The ice pops are laid out on parchment paper, and a spoon is in the process of adding more chocolate to the treat on the right.

Notes

To store, refrigerate in an air-tight container and separate layers of Tigger Tails with wax paper or parchment.
