Ingredients

  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 pound white chocolate almond bark or 8 2-oz. cubes, plus more if you want the white chocolate drizzle on top
  • 2 pounds  peanuts (lightly salted)

Equipment

  • Crock Pot

Method

  1. Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a large crockpot.
A white bowl is filled with a mixture of caramel, white, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Six large squares of white chocolate or similar confectionery are evenly placed on top of the mixture. The bowl's contents are arranged to cover the bottom evenly.
  2. Step 2: Cook on LOW heat for 1 hour, stirring once halfway through.
Close-up of a crockpot filled with melted chocolate mixed with peanuts, forming clusters. The creamy, nutty mixture has a rich, glossy texture and fills the entire pot, hinting at a delicious homemade treat in the making.
  3. Step 3: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, scoop clumps of peanut mixture onto parchment paper and allow to cool to room temperature. You may refrigerate or freeze them.  Be sure to serve at room temperature for the best texture.
Several clusters of chocolate-covered peanuts are arranged on a white parchment paper. The clusters have an irregular, chunky shape, each appearing textured and glossy from the melted chocolate coating. The treats are evenly spaced in neat rows.
  4. Step 4: Optional: Melt white chocolate almond bark and drizzle over the top of the set clusters.
Six clusters of milk chocolate and peanuts drizzled with white chocolate are on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
