9. Haunted Mansion – One of the most beloved attractions in all of Walt Disney World features some very chilling moments and is located in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom. The Haunted Mansion begins by bringing guests through an interactive graveyard where are sorts of eerie occurrences happen along the way. Guests then enter into the manor home where they are introduced to the Ghost Host who explains that nine hundred and ninety nine happy haunts call the location home. Once on board their Doom Buggies, guests set off for a tour of the Haunted Mansion where they discover ghostly libraries, spirits attempting to break free of doorways, and Madame Leota hosting a séance from regions beyond. The Doom Buggies then pass through the ballroom where ghostly figures can be found waltzing, dueling, and more before ending the journey in the graveyard where the happy haunts are materializing and singing the classic “Grim Grinning Ghosts.” The Haunted Mansion definitely features some truly eerie moments including a hitchhiking ghost threatening to follow guests home at the end. Creepy moments and ghostly characters make the Haunted Mansion a wonderful attraction for adults to enjoy in Walt Disney World.
