3) Cannoli Cake – Pizzafari – In addition to the many carts and counter service locations throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are also several quick service locations that are set up more like traditional restaurants with plenty of seating. Pizzafari is open daily for lunch and dinner and is located on Discovery Island just across from the main view of the Tree of Life. The restaurant is beautifully themed with carvings of creatures nearly everywhere painted in bright and cheerful colors. Pizzafari’s main menu choices are delicious individual pizzas and guests can enjoy options such as Cheese Pizza, Vegetable Pizza, Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza, and other Italian inspired options like a Shrimp Flatbread and Caesar Salad. While the pizzas at Pizzafari are certainly filling, guests know to leave room for a delicious dessert that is also inspired by Italian cuisine. The Cannoli Cake features a chocolate cake with chocolate chip cannoli filling topped with chocolate ganache.
