10. The Festival of the Lion King – Animal Kingdom
This Broadway-style stage show is performed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and you don’t want to miss it! It is a beautiful and vibrant retelling of the story of Disney’s The Lion King, in which Simba the lion cub learns about the circle of life and begins his journey to become king. There are stilt-walkers, acrobats, dancers, singers and other types of performers, each dressed in elaborate costuming. The story of Simba is told so well during this stage show that you’ll experience parts of the story you haven’t before. The audience is divided into four sections—each one representing a different animal. Which section will you be in? And how well can you make that animal’s sound and interact with the performers?
