Beware of These 10 Things at Walt Disney World

8) Too much sugar

This plague can hit any time in the parks—night or day. From Mickey-shaped ice cream sandwiches and Dole Whips to chocolate-covered bananas and caramel corn, all kinds of sweet and treats are readily available in the parks. As if the temptation weren’t bad enough, all those Disney World treats are actually very good. So one treat is never enough! Combine that with the fact that many Guests are on their yearly family vacation, during which they justify every less-than-stellar food choice they make, and you’ve got the recipe for a sugar overload! It’s great to have treats while you’re enjoying the sights and sounds of Disney, but make sure you don’t overdo it. Too much sugar can give you an instant burst of energy, followed by fatigue, irritability and for some people, even a feeling of dizziness and weakness due to a sudden drop in their blood sugar. Simply put: enjoy responsibly.
