5 FastPasses You Should Reserve and 5 You Shouldn’t at Walt Disney World

8) You SHOULD reserve Soarin’ Around the World – EPCOT

Have you ever wished you could fly—or at least float or hang glide over the countryside, the mountains, the ocean? Thanks to the magic of Disney, you can do just that in Future World at EPCOT inside the Land pavilion. Soarin’ Around the World is a very popular attraction among Disney World parkgoers. Guests load onto a moving row of seats, and the seats are raised almost 40 feet above the ground. Right in front of them is a huge IMAX screen. Once Guests’ seats are raised, a beautiful display of scenes from all over the world is shown on the screen. The technology of the IMAX film combine with the aerial view of famous places on earth and scents infused into the air, thus giving Guests the feeling of soaring. The experience feels so real that you’re sure you’ve just been on a trip around the world! You can choose the stand-by queue if you want to soar, but you’ll have a long wait—up to 100 minutes or more during peak seasons. If you don’t want to waste that precious park time on a queue, it’s a really good idea to secure a FastPass+ time for this amazing experience!
