15 Things You Didn't Know Were Possible at Walt Disney World

11) Visit Animals Outside of Disney's Animal Kingdom If you are an animal lover and are looking for a way to spend a day off from the theme parks, there are two different places that you might want to check out. The first is Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. There are over 30 species that call the resort home, and you can see them for yourself, even if you are staying elsewhere. You can walk outdoors behind the main lodge and take a look, or you might want to dine at one of the restaurants. If horses are your passion it is Tri-Circle-D Ranch that you will want to visit. It's located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. There you can see several different breeds, including Appaloosas, Clydesdales, and Percherons. Tri-Circle-D Ranch is also the place that Cinderella's ponies call home. You can see the horses for free, and you'll also learn how well Disney takes care of its animals. (Photo credit: Disney)
