7) Rent a Slower Boat
As already mentioned, you can rent a personal watercraft at Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre. Rentals are possible at several other Walt Disney World Resorts as well. What do you do if you'd like to take to the water at a slower pace? Once again you will need to make your way to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. There you can rent either a canoe or a kayak. The renter must be at least 18 years old, and proper identification is required. Each canoe can hold up to three people, while the kayak cannot hold more than two. The course is easy, and you can go at your own pace. Rental is per hour, and life jackets must be worn. They are included in the price. You do not need to make a reservation to rent either a canoe or a kayak. Rentals are held from 9:00am-5:00pm daily, weather permitting. (Photo credit: Disney)
