It’s impossible to provide an exhaustive list of the best signature foods in Walt Disney World – there are too many fantastic dishes to possibly list! But after careful consideration, we’ve compiled this list of foods you definitely want to try the next time you’re on property.
15. Mickey Waffles
These iconic waffles, shaped like everyone’s favourite mouse, are a must-eat for breakfast, or anytime! The small versions are available all over the resorts and parks, and you can even get an over-sized version at Sleepy Hollow in the Magic Kingdom.
14. Coconut Bar
If “dad jokes” (served up in abundance by your wait staff) aren’t enough to get you to the Skipper Canteen in the Magic Kingdom, the delectable coconut bar should do it! This light dessert bar features pineapple-basil compote and vanilla cream on top of tasty coconut, for a juicy jungle treat.
13. Thai Noodle Bowl
A favorite among vegan and vegetarian guests, this hearty meal – with a healthy dose of coconut tofu – is perfect even for those without dietary restrictions. It’s available at Hollywood Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios.
12. School Bread
Disney World guests simply rave about the school bread at Norway’s Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in Epcot. And who wouldn’t be a fan of creamy vanilla custard in a sweet roll, topped with powdered sugar and toasted coconut?
11. Colossal (Mickey-Shaped) Cinnamon Roll
This Animal Kingdom winner from Kusafiri Bakery is a great idea for breakfast or an anytime snack. As its name hints, it’s huge, and full of cinnamon sugar and drizzled icing for a Mickey-shaped treat that melts in your mouth.
10. Cheddar Cheese Soup
A soup would have to be pretty amazing to make it onto a list like this, and Le Cellier Steakhouse’s cheddar cheese soup doesn’t disappoint! One of the most talked about soups on property, it features Moosehead beer, applewood smoked bacon, and lots and lots of cheddar cheese.
9. Turkey Legs
Luckily for Disney fans everywhere who can’t get enough of them, these turkey legs are available all over Walt Disney World. They’re huge, they’re delicious, they’re fun to eat – and they’re rightfully a hit with guests of all ages!

8. The Kitchen Sink
One of the most coveted novelty foods in Walt Disney World, this massive – and we do mean massive – dessert combines your favorite ice cream with just about any topping you could ever imagine, and then some! Look for it at Beaches and Cream Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. You will need to bring a few friends to help you finish off this beauty!
7. Pineapple bread
One of our all-time favorite food discoveries at Walt Disney World is the heavenly pineapple bread found at ‘Ohana and Kona Café in Disney’s Polynesian Resort. It’s complimentary (but don’t skip it to save room for dinner!), and it’s served with macadamia butter for a combination that can’t be beat.
6. Four-Cheese Macaroni
This signature dish keeps us coming back to Hollywood Studios’ Mama Melrose’s for more! It combines strip steak with the tastiest four-cheese macaroni you’ve ever had, for a mouth-watering effect. Trust us, it’s a magical combination!
5. Steak
It’s no surprise that the steak at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club is to die for. Perhaps more surprising is the fact that you can check out your steaks before you eat them through the window in the restaurant’s steak trimming room!
4. Sushi
In addition to having the perfect fireworks-viewing vantage point, the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort also has what is probably the best sushi on property. It’s the perfect way to end a magical day at Walt Disney World!
3. The Grey Stuff
As every Beauty and the Beast fan knows, the “grey stuff” at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom really IS delicious! Served atop a chocolate cupcake, it’s a creamy cookies and cream mousse, with sprinkles. Don’t let the Beast catch you skipping this famous dessert!
2. Zebra Domes
This unique delicacy found at Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Boma and Mara is well worth the trek to the resort! Zebra domes are coated in white chocolate and filled with Amarula liqueur mousse, resting on a light sponge cake. You have to taste it to believe it.
1. Dole Whip
No Disney food list would be complete without this soft-serve treat, a favorite among Walt Disney World guests! The beloved Dole Whip is available in pineapple, vanilla or a mix of the two, and you’ll find it at the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Polynesian Resort and Pop Century.
