15 Signature Foods You Must Try at Walt Disney World

1) Dole Whip (Aloha Isle, Magic Kingdom)4

Dole Whip could be the most refreshing thing possible on a hot day in Florida. It's a soft serve pineapple treat that is vegan and gluten-free. There is no trans fat or cholesterol in Dole Whip, and at only 90 calories per half cup it's a treat that won't kill your diet. (Keep in mind that a typical serving is larger than four ounces.) You can enjoy your Dole Whip in a cup, or have pineapple juice added and make it a Pineapple Float. For many guests, Dole Whip and a day at the Magic Kingdom go hand in hand. If you do venture away from the Magic Kingdom you can get Dole Whip in a souvenir bowl at Pineapple Lanai, which is located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. If you want an adult version of the snack, you can order Dole Whip with Rum at Tamu Tamu Refreshments. That's located at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Dole Whip, with or without rum, is also sometimes sold at Epcot during the annual festivals. The best place to get your Dole Whip fix, though, will always be Aloha Isle at the Magic Kingdom. Together, they are classics.
