3) You MUST Use FastPass+
If you hate lines, you need to take advantage of FastPass+. The service is free, but surprisingly many guests don't bother with it because they don't understand how it works. The system is simple. In order to reserve your spots ahead of time you need to have a My Disney Experience account. Your tickets need to be connected to the account. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be able to make your FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance, starting at 7:00am Eastern. If you aren't staying at a Disney resort, you can make your reservations at the 30 day mark. You will be able to make three choices ahead of time, and they all need to be in the same park. At the Magic Kingdom there is one list that you will choose from. At the other three parks, FastPass+ is in tiers. You can pick one attraction from Tier One and two from Tier Two. Of course the most popular rides are all Tier One, so you will have some difficult choices to make. When you arrive at the park and it's your FastPass+ return time, scan your MagicBand or ticket. It's that easy! Once you have used all three selections, you can make another one through the app or at a FastPass+ kiosk. If you don't have a free My Disney Experience account and don't want one, you can still use FastPass+. Just head to a kiosk in the park when you get there. The best selections might be gone, but you'll still have three less lines that you'll have to wait in.
