6) Sunscreen

As already mentioned, the sun in Florida can be brutal. Sunscreen is essential to protect your skin. Every member of your party needs to wear sunscreen, and it needs to be reapplied often. Do not use the excuse that you don't burn or that your skin type does not need sunscreen. Use it anyway. A little bit of protection now can save you from terrible consequences later in life. A sunburn will make you miserable and could ruin your vacation. Sunscreen is a fast and inexpensive way to take care of yourself. Don't forget to use it on any exposed skin, including the backs of your knees, the tops of your feet, and the back of your neck. If you miss a spot you will literally feel it later.
