13 Rookie Mistakes at Walt Disney World Resort

When it comes to choosing a vacation destination on planet Earth, the possibilities are endless. You can travel abroad and experience cultures outside of your own in other countries. You can choose to stay here in the United States, visit another state’s annual fair and enjoy entertainment and attractions that you cannot experience in your own hometown. Maybe an educational venue is more your style; those possibilities are endless too.

On a traditional vacation, however, you’ll more than likely have to choose one experience over another, one country over another, one state and its museums over another state and its offerings. But what if you could travel to one destination and be immersed in the history of its beginnings, its development, where it’s been and where it’s headed? And what if—at that same venue—you could also experience diverse cultures and learn about each culture’s history and customs? Wouldn’t it be great if, while you’re there, you could also sample some of each culture’s cuisine? And wouldn’t it be even more bang for your buck if you could also enjoy live entertainment, amazing attractions, interactive exhibits and out-of-this-world nighttime shows?

Such a place does exist, and it’s closer than you think. At the Walt Disney World outside of Orlando, Florida, the experiences are so many and so diverse that you will never go wrong in choosing it as your next family vacation destination. But with all it has to offer, you might go wrong in how you experience it, especially if you’re a first-time Guest to the parks, also known as a Disney World rookie.

Here are 13 rookie mistakes people make at Walt Disney World and how you can avoid them.
