You can have the pizza and not the salad, or the burger without the fries. It isn't listed on the menu board, but the cashier knows what to do. You will be surprised by how much less it costs to order just the entree without the side or sides. This won't work at a place where the meals are packaged ahead of time, but it is usually possible. This is a little known way to save money on quick service meals, and the money saved adds up.
