6. Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork – Flame Tree Barbecue – Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to some amazing dining locations that guests flock to when visiting the park. Many guests are familiar with Tusker House Restaurant for its wonderful buffet and character interactions as well as Yak & Yeti Restaurant for its Pan-Asian cuisine and wonderful décor, but there are several other dining locations that sometimes are overlooked. Flame Tree Barbecue is located on Discovery Island near the entrance to Dinoland and guests are sure to smell the delicious aromas of barbecue before the find the location. Flame Tree Barbecue is open daily for lunch and dinner and serves up amazing menu options such as ½ Chicken, St. Louis Rib Dinner, and Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich. However, there is another menu item that is delicious but tends to be overlooked when guests are ordering. The Backed Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork serves up moist and smooth macaroni and cheese which is then topped with a healthy portion of smoked pulled pork, onion rings, and coleslaw. Guests who are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom must stop by Flame Tree Barbecue and enjoy the delicious Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork while enjoying the beautiful patio views of Expedition Everest in the distance.
