7. Follow the cancellation policy.
If you must cancel a dining reservation for any reason, don’t worry! It happens every day of the week. But you’ll want to cancel more than 24 hours before your reservation time so you don’t incur a cancellation fee of $10 per person on the reservation—ouch!
