5. Don’t bring in folding chairs.
Folding chairs aren’t a bad idea, considering they’d come in very handy while you’re watching the Festival of Fantasy parade at the Magic Kingdom. But don’t try it. You won’t get past security for several reasons. Folding chairs are very bulky and cumbersome, and if they were permitted in the parks, can you imagine how many times you’d create enemies among other Guests because you accidentally hit them with your chair while carrying it around? Now imagine setting up your chairs so you can watch IllumiNations at EPCOT. Your chairs are in the way of other Guests, and when others are standing in front of you so they can enjoy a nighttime spectacular, you’ll have to move or stand up from your chair anyway.
If someone in your traveling party is unable to stand for a length of time because of a disability or an injury, consider renting a wheelchair from the parks so that your loved one can enjoy all the fireworks presentations, shows, nighttime spectaculars and other attractions for which Guests usually stand. Disney wants Guests to be comfortable and safe at all times while enjoying the parks.
